Publisher and scope

This notice covers the Korea with Chloe collection at pickworks.pages.dev, published by Pickworks · 픽웍스데브. Contact hello@pickworks.dev for privacy questions. Some apps have additional notices explaining their particular features; read them together with this site-wide notice.

This revision does not require an account and does not load advertising scripts or analytics tags. It has no application backend that receives quiz answers or names entered into the name studio.

Website and font requests

Loading the website sends ordinary requests to the hosting provider, Cloudflare. These requests can include an IP address, the requested URL, browser information and connection details. The hosting provider may process security and service logs under its own policies. We do not claim that visiting a hosted website is anonymous or produces no logs.

Some existing apps load styles and font files from Google Fonts. This involves requests to Google’s font domains and ordinary connection information. The new guide pages use system fonts. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for those services.

What stays in your browser

• Portal language: the portal can remember English or Korean under korekind-language in localStorage.
• Food matcher language: the food tool can remember a language under samgyeopsal-language. Opening it with a language link selects that language for the visit.
• KBO completion count: a local count may be stored under kbo_completions. It is not a count of all website visitors.
• Quiz answers: the tools process the answers in the current page. They do not submit those answers to an application server. Restarting or reloading clears the current quiz state.
• Name studio: entered names and generated results are processed in the browser. The studio does not save them to localStorage. Your browser’s own autofill features may separately remember form entries.

You can clear these preferences through your browser’s site-data controls. Optional storage may be unavailable in private browsing or restricted settings; the tools provide a default language when storage cannot be used.

Sharing, downloads and speech

Copy and download actions happen when you press the relevant control. We do not automatically publish results or send messages on your behalf. A copied text may contain the result you chose to share.

Name-studio share links encode names, selected preferences and the candidate in the URL fragment, after #. The fragment is normally not included in the HTTP request to the host, but anyone with the complete link can read or reproduce those values. This is encoding, not encryption. Do not share a link that contains information you want to keep private.

Name-card PNG files are generated locally. The name studio’s speech feature uses a Korean voice identified by the browser as local; if one is unavailable, the feature explains that limitation. Read the name studio notice for more detail.

When you email us or follow a link

If you email us, your email address, message and attachments are handled by the email services involved and received by the publisher. Use the contact route only for information needed to answer the enquiry; do not include identification documents or payment credentials. Contact us at the same address about access, correction or deletion requests relating to information you sent.

External tourism, transport, map and booking sites have their own data practices. Clicking a link takes you to that service. We do not receive your booking or purchase information merely because you followed an ordinary reference link from a guide.

Advertising status

No advertising code is installed in this revision, so it does not request Google advertisements or set Google advertising cookies through an ad tag. Google Fonts is a separate service from Google advertising.

If Google advertising is introduced, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including based on prior visits where applicable. The notice and consent controls will be updated before that change is deployed. Google explains its practices at Advertising technologies and provides controls at My Ad Center. That future possibility does not mean ads are currently running here.
