People and contributor credits

Our co-creator Chloe is a licensed tourist guide in Korea with 10 years of experience as a guide and interpreter, specialising in Seoul tourism and history. Pickworks is responsible for publishing the site.

We distinguish site co-creation from work on an individual article. A named writing, contribution or review credit describes work that person actually completed for the article. Review dates refer to that review, and personal accounts are attributed to the person who experienced them.

Facts and recommendations are different

Official operators, public agencies and primary references are used for information such as ticket rules, definitions and transport options. We link the relevant references so that readers can check the original context. A source link does not mean that every sentence in a guide was written or endorsed by that organisation.

Our comparisons—such as which base may be easier for a short trip—are editorial judgements. Quiz scores are rules chosen for the tool, not scientific personality measurements, satisfaction surveys or a promise of an outcome.

Dates show what was actually updated

An article’s update date describes an editorial revision. Where the underlying facts were researched on a different date, the guide identifies that research snapshot separately. A forecast publication, a booking opening and a visit date are different events.

Our Jamsil and autumn pages retain their 22 September 2026 research snapshot. They do not receive a live inventory, weather or foliage feed. For a date-sensitive decision, follow the official source again near your visit. We do not change a checked date simply because a page has been redesigned.

Tools, AI and editorial responsibility

AI-assisted tools are used in the creation of parts of the text, code and illustrations. Publishing responsibility remains with Pickworks. Guides combine edited explanations, references and the existing tool data; they are not automatically published as a stream of generated answers.

We do not manufacture first-hand visits, interviews, user reviews or measured success rates. Where a method is an authored rule or an example, it is described that way. The name studio’s method shows the particular evidence and limits of its suggestions.

Illustration is not evidence

AI-generated food, stadium, neighbourhood and autumn pictures are illustrative. They cannot verify a food’s origin, the current colour of a landscape, an exact route or a seat’s view. Follow the accompanying captions. Use official maps and current venue information for practical decisions.

The portal’s palace photograph is credited to Jean Carlo Emer via Unsplash. Other credits or data licences remain with the relevant page or tool. A beautiful image should never be the only evidence for a factual claim.

Independence and corrections

This revision has no advertising scripts or analytics tags installed. The new editorial guides contain no affiliate referral links or paid placement. External booking and tourism references are provided for checking information; they are not a guarantee or an endorsement of every product.

If we introduce advertising or a commercial relationship, we will distinguish it from the editorial advice and update the relevant disclosures. We do not present advertisements as quiz options or navigation.

Send corrections to hello@pickworks.dev. Include the page, the disputed detail and a supporting source when possible. We assess the issue before revising the article. Changes to a time-sensitive rule should be reflected in the relevant explanation and research note.
