A little less guesswork.
Choose a city, understand the home team and plan the evening around the baseball—not around a last-minute ticket problem.
Start with the date and venue. A personality match can introduce a club you might enjoy. It cannot tell you whether that club is playing near you, whether tickets remain or whether you can get home afterwards.
Choose a game that fits your trip
It is tempting to pick a favourite team first and build everything around it. For a visitor with only a few evenings available, reverse that order. Write down where you will sleep, which evenings are free and how far you are willing to travel. Then compare those dates with the official fixture list.
A club has home and away games. Finding “LG” in a schedule does not by itself mean the game is at Jamsil. Check the venue, the home club and the start time together. At Jamsil, LG and Doosan share a stadium; the home club determines which ticket information you need.
Our suggestion: put one preferred game and one alternative evening in your plan. Treat an unbooked game as an option rather than a guaranteed highlight. If the only available fixture creates a stressful airport or last-train connection, choose a different activity.

This is an orientation to the league, not a fixture list. A particular game may use a different venue or change time. The club and official schedule are the final references for the game you intend to attend.
Read the ticket route before travelling
Open the home club’s official ticket page. Check when sales open, whether the booking route works for your phone number and payment method, and what identification or collection process is required. A translated article describing a process is not proof that an overseas card will complete a purchase.
Do not treat a sold-out online listing as a promise of tickets at the stadium. Equally, another traveller’s successful walk-up does not establish availability on your date. A derby, holiday or special event can make a seemingly ordinary evening much busier.

Choose the experience, then the seat
Before comparing prices, decide what matters most: being close to organised cheering, following the play, sitting with children or avoiding a long climb. Look at the official seating plan and the exact section on the listing. “Good seat” means different things to different people.
A colourful stadium illustration is not a seating diagram. Use the ticket seller’s map to understand the section and any restricted views. If step-free access, space for a mobility aid or assistance matters, contact the venue before buying; a low section number is not evidence of an accessible route.
At the ground, follow the instructions for your section. You can enjoy the atmosphere without knowing every chant. Keep aisles clear, respect the people around you and ask staff if the ticket location is unclear.
Plan the whole evening
- Before leaving: check the club’s game-status notice, ticket details and venue address. An outdoor weather forecast is a planning input, not confirmation that a game is cancelled.
- On the way: include the station exit, final walk, collection and entry in your plan. A rail journey time covers only part of that.
- At the gate: keep the booking and required ID accessible. Check the venue’s current bag, food and re-entry rules rather than assuming every ground is the same.
- After the game: know your last usable connection and your alternative. A game does not have a guaranteed finishing time.
For a low-stress first visit, staying in the same city is often the more forgiving choice. If you are relying on an intercity departure, decide your own leave-by time before the first pitch.
